Called in and had a carvery lovely too plenty of assorted vegetables and potatoes and gorgeous beef well worth a visit
Nice place, food was excellent & very reasonably priced.nice atmosphere to the place. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only downside was parking, you have to pay & display. Not sure if you get refunded if you use the pub we didn't get to find out as there is ample free parking for your first 3 owners on the retail park across the road which is a 2 minute walk. Great experience & will definitely be calling in again.
Very polite, attentive staff, as soon as we walked in with 2 dogs, a very kind gentleman, asked if he could give the dogs some scraps from the carvery, he also brought over water for the dogs. The staff were extremely polite and professional. The larger, was extremely well kept and a very nice pint. My wife and friend had the carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it, it does say go large for an extra couple of pounds, my wife was very pleased she didn't choose this as she had more than enough. I had pasta which was very tasty. It was so good we returned the next day for my wife's birthday and again we were not disappointed. I would highly recommend the Cookhouse.
We have had the "all you can eat breakfast" several times. It is amazing value for money and offers great variety. Although I don't eat meat, I can still enjoy a very satisfying and tasty breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant, top marks in all departments.
Had 3 course meal, loved it For starters i ordered creamy mushrooms, was a little bland for me 3/5 Singapore noodles are my absolute fav 4.5/5 their sticky toffy pudding was really nice and full of flavour 5/5
The manager kindly got us (9) seated on a busy bank holiday Sunday evening in their family area. The kids liked the outdoor play area whilst we ordered food which was served quickly. Three of us had the carvery which rated better than most, others had a good burger, excellent chicken wings and a big sausage. All in all, good value for money in OK surroundings.
Absolutely gorgeous pub with really lovely staff and the most delicious carvery!! Really really tasty. Thank you so much to you all!!! We were recommended to you by the lady we're renting a holiday caravan from for a few days and very glad she did! Such a lovely meal will more than likely be back again for food tomorrow YUM!
Highly recommend this place, very understanding of dietary requirements and when there was a small issue with my food it was chased up promptly and rectified. Would like to especially thank the girl with dark hair and glasses for your help, sorry I wasn’t able to catch your name! I would absolutely recommend for a vegetarian friendly carvery
